Success at the Virtual World Championships 2021

Inclusive Skating this year has successfully conducted the first Virtual World Championships. The championships had skaters participating from 12 countries including Australia, Bulgaria, Czech, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Russia, UAE, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States of America, and Wales. The event was conducted entirely via video submission and remote judging . It built on the success of the first Inclusive Skating Virtual Event developed during the lockdown.

Here at Widnes we are proud to share the news that Micheal and Stephanie both had a successful event and made the podium multiple times in their respective categories. A big well done to you both on your achievements and in the progression of your own personal skating journeys, whilst facing the challenges that the Covid-19 pandemic brought.
